Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® Launches OBE Academy, An Online Portal for Interactive Learning and Continuing Education

DALLAS – (October 1, 2020) – Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® (OBE), a leading global supplier of architectural glass, metal and hardware, announced today it has launched OBE Academy, an online portal for interactive learning and continuing education.

“We are excited to roll out our new learning management system, especially at a time when virtual learning has become an essential resource for architects who have traditionally obtained many of their continuing education credits through in-person events,” said Brenda Kelly, vice president of marketing at OBE.

OBE Academy is powered by a dynamic backend to give learners a user-friendly experience using high-quality visuals and applications designed to keep them engaged from course start through completion.  The portal can be accessed on demand at www.obe.com under the “Resources” tab or directly at ce.obe.com.

Each course has been developed by OBE’s knowledgeable experts drawing on decades of industry experience. And, is certified by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) to provide continuing education credits for architects.

“Because OBE Academy is part of our ongoing commitment to provide innovative tools to meet the needs of our customer community, we’ve carefully curated each topic and course based on our own research and data from our partnership with AIA,” Kelly added.

There are a range of on-demand course topics from the health benefits of natural lighting to when to use curtain wall, window wall or storefront.  Register today at ce.obe.com.
