Rugged StormMax® Entrances
Rugged StormMax® Entrances are your ultimate solution for high-velocity hurricane impact resistance and superior durability. Engineered with a robust 3/16″ wall thickness and a 2″ depth, these entrances are designed to withstand the harshest conditions, making them ideal for heavy-traffic areas such as hospitals, schools, universities, and office buildings. The Rugged StormMax® Entrances are rigorously tested to meet ASTM Large Missile Level E standards, Florida’s High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) protocols, and Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) product evaluations, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance for essential facilities.
Door Fabrication
Designed with heavy-duty tubular door members, these entrances feature bolted corner blocks and steel back-up plates, with two welded points per notched corner for exceptional stability and strength. The absence of exposed screws or fasteners gives the doors smooth, clean lines, enhancing both durability and aesthetics. With a range of medium and wide stile widths, as well as horizontal muntin options from 4″ to 10″ tall, these entrances offer the flexibility to meet various design requirements. Additionally, 8″ and 10″ bottom rail options are available to further customize your door designs.
Glass Fabrication
Choose between a high-performance 1-1/16″ insulating laminated glass, offering exceptional thermal performance and superior impact resistance through multiple glass layers and insulating properties, or a robust 9/16″ laminated glass option, delivering strength and security with its thick glass layers bonded by a resilient interlayer. Both options are engineered to safeguard critical infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted operations in the face of high velocity hurricane wind and debris.
By fabricating both the glass and frame, we streamline the entire process, ensuring precision and quality from start to finish. With Rugged StormMax® Entrances, you get a high-performance solution that combines strength, safety, and architectural flexibility, perfectly suited for the most demanding environments.
