
Richard Braunstein
Vice President, Research and DevelopmentRichard Braunstein leads the Research and Development function driving innovation and product design for the company.
Richard has been a part of the fenestration industry for over 25 years as both an industry leader and an educator. He established and managed two companies serving the architectural community in Atlanta, Georgia, for 18 years. Richard is also an adjunct faculty member at Georgia Tech where he developed and teaches a course on Sustainable Product Design.
Richard has published and lectured extensively on the subject of sustainable design. He has been recognized for his design contributions by the International Energy Agency and Business Week Magazine, as well as his contribution in the classroom with an Amoco Foundation Teaching Excellence Award.
Prior to joining Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® in 2018, Richard worked with the Kawneer Company and YKK AP Corporation of America, where he led research and development as Director of the function for over 10 years.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut and a Masters in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech.
