Oldcastle Glass® supports The Philip Johnson Glass House

As part of its ongoing commitment to architecture and the arts, Oldcastle Glass® served as the exclusive sponsor to launch a series of invitational “Glass House Conversations” held at the Glass House, a world-famous landmark designed by Philip Johnson and built in 1949 on a 47-acre estate in New Canaan, Connecticut. This program brought together thought leaders with expertise in art, architecture, design, preservation, business, education, civic life, media, and interactive technology to explore issues of mutual interest. Topics included The Power of Place, Procession and Seduction, Breaking the Rules, Trophy, Transparency, and Citizen Designer. Video interviews with each of the six moderators, as well as a gallery of photographs, participant biographies, and overviews, posted at http://philipjohnsonglasshouse.org/programs/conversations/ are now available for public access. “We are delighted to support this program, which continues Philip Johnson’s legacy of convening great minds of architecture, art, and design,” said Ted Hathaway, Chief Executive Officer of Oldcastle Glass®.
