Oldcastle Glass® Introduces New Exhibition Booth

Two-Level Structure Showcases Glass and Metal

Santa Monica, CA – June 8, 2006 — Oldcastle Glass® introduced their new exhibition booth today at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Convention and Design Expo in Los Angeles. The two-level structure was custom-engineered to illustrate Oldcastle Glass® Envelope™, a comprehensive range of architectural glass, operable windows, and curtain wall products designed to close the building envelope.

Flanked by a 20’ tall Bentemp® glass tower, the structure features a glass staircase and glass railings leading up to the mezzanine. Sliding doors, all glass entrances, aluminum windows and entrances, high-performance insulating glass, blast windows, and glass floor inserts are among other features considered unique for one booth. A scale architectural model of a multi-story office building with a curved curtain wall façade is used to demonstrate the performance of SunGlass™, solar control glass. Flatscreen monitors highlight Oldcastle Glass® projects and the blast mitigation system.

”We are delighted to have the opportunity to showcase our highly diverse product offerings with this new exhibition booth,” said Ted Hathaway, CEO of Oldcastle Glass®. “Enclosing the Building Envelope is an important theme of our exhibit and the comprehensive range of glass and aluminum products on display illustrates our capabilities.”

Oldcastle Glass® will occupy booth #1217 at the AIA Convention and Expo.
