Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® Continues Its Commitment to the Architectural Community as Presenting Sponsor of A’21

DALLAS – (June 17, 2021) – Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® (OBE), a leading global supplier of architectural glass, metal and hardware, announced today it is a proud sponsor of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Conference on Architecture 2021. This sponsorship is part of OBE’s ongoing commitment to the architectural community as well as its strategic partnership and collaboration with AIA since 2019.

A’21 is a four-day immersive digital experience, a first for the AIA, which brings together leaders in architecture and adjacent industries to define the year ahead. Each conference day is dedicated to addressing key topics: firm resilience, sustainable practice, community engagement, and building efficiencies.

Liz Haggerty, OBE President, will open A’21 with a welcome message calling on the thousands of virtual attendees to lean on building product manufacturers to not only help solve the demands of today but work side-by-side to innovate for the future. Haggerty will also serve as a panelist on Day 4 of the conference on August 19 to discuss how the world is changing and how the industry will need to adapt to survive.

In addition, OBE will leverage the conference platform to provide learning opportunities and share how its experts work collaboratively with architects to solve building challenges. Connect with OBE throughout the conference, including on:

    • Day 1: Firm Resilience – June 17 – Jeff Phillips, OBE General Manager, Holoform, will conduct a live product demo, The “Next Normal” for Interiors.
    • Day 2: Sustainable Practice – July 8 – John Rovi, OBE Architectural Business Development will conduct a live CE Course, Natural Light, on the benefits of daylight and products that support energy efficiency.
